The City of Redding Begins Update on Riverfront Specific Plan With an Open House

The updated Specific Plan will become the City’s primary planning, design, preservation, and regulatory document for the Riverfront area. The Project Team hosted an Open House on Monday, August 14, 2023 to kick-off the City’s Redding Riverfront planning process and solicit community members' thoughts and ideas.

This Open House offered community members the opportunity to:

• Learn more about the history of the study area
• Share your ideas on specific assets, challenges, and opportunities for the Redding Riverfront
• Review the City’s planning process and identify ways you can stay involved
